Congratulations to Jinhwan Oh for his (soon-to-be) baby twin, one boy and one girl. The babies will be due sometimes in July.

NEW RS MEMBERS:

• There will be 4 new RS students for the upcoming Fall 2008 and Spring 2009. They are from Mexico, Japan, Indonesia, and Pakistan.

RESEARCH INTEGRITY AND ETHIC

• Cornell has established “Office of Research Integrity and Assurance (ORIA)” to assure that any primary data collection (survey or laboratory test) conducted by Cornell students or faculties is compliance with the government regulations
• Thus, any research done by PhD students must meet the requirement regardless of the place where the research was conducted (within or outside the US) or the source of funding
